Silent No More

β€œAll that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
(Edmund Burke)

Most of us have heard of the “Silent Majority”. It is a statement that expresses the sad fact that the majority of Americans are not very vocal about what they think or feel. Because of this lack of involvement those who are more vocal end up directing the way the rest of us will be governed. For far too long the “Silent Majority” have been minimally involved with the course our county has been taking. It is time for this majority to reflect on and change this inaction and recognize their responsibilities to participate. If we don’t become involved, we have no one else to blame for the direction our country takes but ourselves.
